Third floor
1. Third Floor
The easiest way to get to the third floor is to take the elevator from the first floor reference
stack area. Or you may take the central stairs to the second floor, go past the double doors and
make a right in the hallway to get to the stairs that lead to the third floor.
Second Floor Stairs to Third Floor
The Third floor has stacks PN-Z, Juvenile Collection, Oversized Collection, Connecticut Collection. Library
Administration, group study rooms, reading areas, Teaching and Learning Center, and Library Science.
2. Third floor stacks PN-Z
The third floor stacks have the remainder of the circulating collection (books with call numbers
PN2924-Z). This is a view of the stacks from the Student Center side.
A water fountain is on the right and the restrooms are right next to the water fountain. The
elevators are straight ahead.
From the elevator turn left to the atrium that connects this part of the building with the

4. Right after the Z section are the Juvenile fiction and non-fiction books – these are
children’s books that are used in education classes. Then follows the Curriculum
Collection consisting of materials that are related to teacher education.
The Oversized Collection is shelved next. These are books that are too tall to fit on
the regular shelves.
All of these collections can be checked out.
