The most qualified service provider will take a program. Current developed programs include EZOG License, Slingshot, Invest Direct Funding, Incubator, and Peer Coaching. Money for new program development would be raised separately from ViM People and providers could be reimbursed once revenue is generated. EZOG training is separate and licensed through Insights training company.
ViM People - People
ViM People offers two ways for individuals to be involved: as members or in leadership. Members can either be crew members, who are W-2 employees eligible for benefits and paid hourly or salary from revenue, or service providers/practitioners, who are exempt employees paid a share of revenue through billing clients. Affiliates are contracted to ViM People and can deliver revenue like service providers while being paid on a 1099 or act as crew members.
ViM People - Market
There are over 600,000 startups per year in the US generating over $100-150 billion annually, not including institutional investments. Small businesses, including solopreneurs, make up the majority of businesses and generate over $7 trillion per year. In Colorado there are over 121,000 small businesses with around 12,000 in Boulder County alone. ViM People aims to serve solopreneurs generating revenue, businesses with 50+ employees looking to grow, pre-revenue startups with large scale models, and solopreneurs transitioning from corporate jobs through services like finance advising, marketing, sales strategy, web development, and project management.
ViM People - Leadership
1. Patrons must be members or affiliates who fund the local office through convertible notes with 6% interest. Patrons can convert to equity after 12 months and are the only ones who can directly buy equity, with a minimum of $5k and maximum of $50k.
2. Founding partners are initially part of the non-revenue branch and uncompensated, expected to work full time to grow the model. They are responsible for expansion and protecting the brand.
3. Local partners lead the local office through democratic processes, with one being the managing director eligible for an override payment. They deliver revenue as service providers but report to the local office rather than founding partners
ViM People - IP_Transfer
Each service provider can develop their own intellectual property for their offers and take it with them if they leave ViM People to compete. ViM People retains a non-exclusive license to continue using any intellectual property if other members are actively trained and using it. Pre-existing trade secrets or processes brought into ViM People do not require compensation, while existing trademarks, copyrights, or patents will have local branches create processes for integrating them.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software Fuzzing
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.
