The Lake Tahoe Basin was formed by plate tectonic movement around 24 million years ago, which caused uplifting and faulting in the area and formed the Sierra Nevada mountains. Volcanic activity then blocked the basin's outlet, causing a lake to form. Glaciers later expanded into the basin during an ice age, carving out the landscape and leaving behind features like moraines. Today, evidence of this geologic history can be seen in the sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rocks around Lake Tahoe.

Multi cam analyse

- 2. Camera Techniques • Use high lighting mainly natural light source • Avoid shooting in direct sunlight- prevent too much exposure – Light will also be able to set the tone and tell the story • Ensure the composition is correct- use the rule of thirds
- 3. • Be careful when using the zoom and handheld camerawork • Try and use a tripod as much as you can to ensure the camera is controlled • Ensure when using a close up you do not go to close or to far away
- 4. • When using a focus always focus on your subjects eyes this would make them look sharp • When using a zoom you should use a very slow zoom, these are the most effective if they are done well • Change the perspectives of the shot • Keep the composition simple
- 5. Audio • Consider the audio when picking a location • Ensure you are close to the person speaking when filming to ensure you can get a good volume- use a external microphone is possible • Use headphones to monitor the sound • Watch the audio meters to ensure it doesn’t distort
- 6. Plan your shot • Ensure you have a storyboard before the shoot • Plan any dialogue or actions being done by the individuals • Linking to audio plan the setting to ensure for the best quality of sound
- 7. Conventions • Ensure the all shot material is conventional to the genre • Pay attention to small details including clothing and props
- 8. Editing • Show something new with each shot or show another view of the same thing • Get the pace right do not make the shots to fast • Don’t use transitions unless they actually mean something and add to the shot • Ensure that you cut out any shots that are not important to the scene • Use a fade or a dissolve when you are showing the passage of time • Do not use effects that will look gimmicky including transitions and effects • Never use any in camera effects in a video as this may effect the quality of your video • Use sound to make the edit smooth otherwise you may have silences
