Victoria was a radical
feminist, and she went as
far as to run for president so
women would get equal
rights as men. This did not
work however because
before the election she was
arrested. This was very
controversial at the time,
because many men were
against this.
2. What she did.
-She advocated free love, and was a Spiritualist.
-She was a feminist, and a suffragette.
-She was the first woman to run a stock brokerage
company with her sister.
-She established the Equal Rights Party, and ran as the
presidential candidate under that party in 1872.
-Wrote, and founded Woodhull and Claflin’s Weekly, which
was a radical paper. It was the first to publish Karl
Marx's The Communist Manifesto in English.
-Wrote Human Body: The Temple of God (1890), and The
Humanitarian
