    PRESENTE SIMPLE (PRESENT SIMPLE)
I work/I don't work/Do you work?
He works/He doesn't work/Does he work?

USOS:
        1- Para expresar verdades generales:
               The sun sets in the west.
        2- Para hablar sobre hábitos, o cosas que ocurren habitualmente:
               He works in New York.

    PRESENTE CONTINUO (PRESENT CONTINUOUS)
I am working/I am not working/Are you working?
He is working/He isn't working/Is he working?
USOS:
       1- Para hablar de acontecimientos que están sucediendo ahora:
              Look, it's snowing.
       2- Para hablar de hábitos temporales:
              I'm taking swimming lessons these days.
       3- Para hablar de acciones planeadas para el futuro. Normalmente se indica el tiempo con un
adverbio:
              I'm washing my hair tonight.

    PASADO SIMPLE (PAST SIMPLE)
I worked/I didn't work/Did I work? (verbos regulares)
I went/I didn't go/Did I go? (verbos irregulares)
USOS:
        1- Para describir un hábito pasado, o una acción repetida en el pasado.
               We competed in sports at primary school.
        2- Para relatar un hecho completo del pasado:
               Last year we went to Ireland.

    PASADO CONTINUO (PAST CONTINUOUS)
I was working/I wasn't working/Were you working?
USOS:
       1- Para sugerir que una acción del pasado empezó antes que otra acción en el pasado, y
probablemente continuó después de ésta.
              She was holding the ball when the music stopped.
       2- Para describir acciones o situaciones temporales en el pasado.
              It happened while I was living in London.
       3- En descripciones, para situar la acción en una historia.
              The sun was shining and the birds were singing.

    PRESENTE PERFECTO (PRESENT PERFECT)
I have worked/I haven't worked/Have you worked? (verbos reg.)
He has gone/He hasn't gone/Has he gone? (verbos irregulares)
USOS:
        1- Para acciones recientes con resultado presente:
               Posters have appeared on our walls.
        2- Para acciones que empezaron en el pasado y continúan hasta el presente:
               He has lived here all his life.
        3- Con "JUST" para hablar de acciones que acaban de terminarse:
               He has just come in.
4- Con "EVER" o "NEVER" para hablar de experiencias:
                Have you ever seen a whale? No, I've never seen one.

     PRESENTE PERFECTO CONTINUO (PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS)
I have been working/He hasn't been working/Have you been working?
USOS:
       1- Para referirnos a una acción que empezó en el pasado y todavía continua, o acaba de
terminar. Hace especial énfasis en la duración y continuidad de la acción.
              I've been studying these verbs for two hours.

     PASADO PERFECTO (PAST PERFECT)
I had worked/I hadn't worked/Had you worked? (verbos regulares)
He had gone/He hadn't gone/Had he gone? (verbos irregulares)
USOS:
      1- Para referirse a una acción en el pasado que tuvo lugar antes que otra acción también
pasada.
             We went to bed as soon as our visitors had left.

     BE GOING TO
I'm going to work/I'm not going to work/Are you going to work?
He's going to work/He isn't going to work/Is he going to work?

USOS:
         1- Normalmente se refiere al futuro cercano e indica intención y plan:
                I'm going to take an exam nest week.
         2- Para hacer predicciones sobre el futuro cuando el hablante tiene evidencia de lo que va a
pasar.
                She's going to have a baby.

     FUTURO (WILL) (FUTURE)
I will (I'll) work/I will not (won't) work/Will you work?
USOS:
      1- Indica intención, pero la decisión se toma en el momento en que se habla:
              It's cold. I'll light a fire.
      2-     Para        hacer         predicciones sobre     el  futuro.   Decimos        lo    que
creemos/pensamos/suponemos/esperamos que va a pasar.
              I think people will become happier in the future.

     FUTURO CONTINUO (FUTURE CONTINUOUS)
I'll be working/I won't be working/Will you be working?
USOS:
        1- Para expresar una acción que estará en proceso en un momento concreto del futuro:
               This time next month I'll be travelling to France.
        2- Para hablar sobre algo que no está planeado, pero sucederá igualmente al ser parte de
una rutina.
               I'll be seeing Mary tomorrow at school.
