 During the period of MS in IIT madras, I worked in the field of solar cell fabrication of SiC/Si tandom

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
SENIOR ENGINEER at Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd., since Aug 2013.
Topic #1: Design and development of Solar Charge Controller for ELECTRIC HYBRID VEHICLE.
DESCRIPTION:
1. This system is used to charge an Electric/ Hybrid Electric Vehicle (EV/EHV) using solar panels.
2. The input current from the Photovoltaic cells is drawn and used to charge 96 cells of Li-Ion battery.
3. A MPPT algorithm is developed and implemented to ensure maximum power transfer to the battery.
4. Proposed new technique in solar charge controller (Section level Accepted for my invention report on solar
charge controller).
Topic #2: Design and development of the Powertrain module of the hybrid electric vehicle (HEV).
DESCRIPTION:
1. Prototype development of a HEV model that runs with both internal combustion engine and battery.
2. During the development stage of this Hybrid Model identified and procured the components for the product.
3. During the development learning on the tools needed for the project like CANoe (commands for running
vehicle). Controlling the Electric motor during the running of the vehicle VCU (Vehicle control unit) used.
4. Simulated communication model of hybrid model in Canoe.
Topic #3: SW testing of both L2 and L3 Modules for hybrid electric vehicle (HEV).
DESCRIPTION:
1. Analysis and Test spec Preparation for both L2 (ASW modules) and L3 (Complex Device Driver Modules)
has been performed.
2. OEM’s both VW and BMW Software’s were tested by using RTRT (Rational Test on Real Time)
Environment.
3. During the Testing stage of this Hybrid electric vehicle identified the two major bugs.
Key Responsibilities:
 Independently handling the project from the stage of requirement discussion, design, and implementation.
 Working as a team member when handling cross functional related projects.
 In HEV prototype development, handled responsible to component selection, procurement, as suitable for
the design development.

 Fabrication SiC/Si tandom cell was fabricated by using Pulsed laser (Nd3+: YAG LASER: 532 nm) Deposition

ACADEMIC PROJECT
Wireless RFID technology based mapping and localization of people movements. May ‘08–‘09
 A microcontroller based parent transceiver is designed that communicates with its child transceivers. The child
transceiver sends its current location when requested by parent.
 PIC controller is programmed using keil software, RFID transceiver is used for the project.
 A small crowd is done in college premises.
SCHOLESTIC ACHIEVMENT
 Selected for the best paper presentation award at JNTU (Anantapur) for work in Biometrics (2009).
 Secured 98.33 in GATE-2010.
