Collision Avoidance System for Unmanned Air Vehicles
My master’s thesis on collision avoidance system for UAV focused on studying the previous advancements
to understand the need for this system & propose a strategic algorithm based system that can detect and
alarm the system when there is another flying object within the range of collision and generate an
advisory for simultaneous avoidance strategy.
Quad Rotor Craft
Bachelor’s project where me and my team members designed, fabricated, and programmed the controls
of a quadcopter i.e. 4 rotor blade aircraft to achieve a flight time of 10 mins (max) and carry payload of 4
kgs.
Eurocopter 135
A system study of Eurocopter EC135 was carried out at Indocopters in fulfillment of my internship, that
was focused on study of Fuselage Structure, Rotor system, Propulsion system , composite structure and a
detailed evaluation of Avionics system.
Thermal control satellite subsystem
Bachelor’s minor project was based on case study of thermal control system of satellites to study the
various temperature control techniques using active and passive devices.
Composite materials
Seminar presented on the topic to demonstrate the growth in use of composite materials in aerospace
industry and study the various aspects of composite materials such as composition, sandwich structure,
joining & manufacturing techniques, defects & repair processes.
Autorotation & noise reduction techniques in Helicopter
Seminar was presented focused on various problems pertaining in an helicopter such as: power failure,
anti-torque system failure & high range noise generation. To overcome these problems techniques were
investigated such as: Autorotation during power failure, during anti-torque system failure and Noise
reduction techniques.
