ANALYSIS AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ENHANCED ROUTING SCHEME FOR 6LoWPAN: Wireless Sensor
Networks (WSN) consists of nodes that are small in size, limited memory and processing capabilities, short
transmission range etc. So to make such network IP (Internet Protocol) enabled, a concept called 6LoWPAN
is introduced by IETF. In this project an efficient routing protocol for 6LoWPAN networks is analyzed and
implemented for better utilization of scarce resources of the nodes and the network.
RESTORATION OF WEATHER DEGRADED IMAGES FOR CAMERA BASED DRIVER ASSISTANCE: Under bad
weather conditions, particularly in daylight fog or mist, the contrast of images taken by the in-vehicle
cameras are drastically degraded. So to overcome such adverse effects of weather on visibility, various
image restoration algorithms have been developed and performance of each algorithm is compared
quantitatively by measuring contrast gain and minimum mean square error.

2. Counting of Micro-organisms for Medical Diagnosis Using Image Processing Methods: Counting
microorganisms is one of the main and most common actions in biological activities, including research and
clinical analyses. In most cases, such counting procedure is performed manually, in a process that is often
lengthy and tedious. To achieve such a goal automatically using image processing few methods have been
studied and analyzed like Object Recognition Method, Thresholding Method and Thresholding Method
using Morphological Tools.
ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control): Adaptive Cruise Control is a setup installed in vehicles to control the speed
i.e. controlling acceleration and deceleration depending of the distance of the obstacle in front of the
vehicle. This technique is useful for avoiding road accidents.
IFF (MK-XI) UNIT: The Identification Friend or Foe Mk-XI (IFF - Mk XI) Ground Equipment is used to
interrogate and identify the ship/aircraft (target) fitted with compatible transponder. The coded replies
from the interrogated target are received back, processed and displayed at the receiver unit in a
convenient form to the operator and hence we can determine that the target is either friend or an enemy.
