Value Exchange
Value exchange is not just a business model but
also a societal model of behaviour. Consumers
may have different needs and wants that are
not only limited on tangible products but also
it is about the experience of getting or using
products and services.
z
Importance of Value Exchange
A value exchange between consumer and brain is
one of the fundamental of modern marketing the
basic transaction of swapping rich data for better
experiences, as a means of facilitating commercial
transaction and improving connection and
engagement.
z
Value exchange concept
The concept of exchange value in marketing
is a useful tool to position product and
service offering. Consumers use value to
evaluate the worth of the offerings as
compared to competitive offerings. From the
seller’s perspective buyer oriented pricing
involves understanding consumers’benefit
needs and setting a price consistent with this
value.
z
Perceived conspicuous value
Perceived conspicuous value is not only applied to the rich but to
all social classes. Each social class tries to emulate the
consumption behaviour of the class above it, to such an extent
that even the poor people are subject to pressures to engage in
conspicuous consumption. For instance, in Chinese traditional
culture, there is an expectation for someone to meet others’
expectations to maintain his reputation or prestige.
z
Perceived Quality Value
Customer Perceived Value Is the notion that the
success of the product service is largely based on
weather customer believe it can satisfy their wants and
need .In other words when the company develop it’s
brand And markets its product, customer ultimately
determine how to interpret to react marketing
message.
