Cobb Theatre and “The Lorax” Help Kick Off New Series
LEESBURG, Va. (March 6, 2012) – Village at Leesburg is excited to announce its new kids
series, VAL’s Pals. VAL’s Pals is a monthly experience just for toddlers and pre-school aged
children and their parents.
VAL’s Pals will feature fun activities and local children’s entertainers such as Mr. Knick
Knack!, Mister Don, Tony Martirano and Crooked Landing. Mr. Knick Knack! has been
performing in Northern Virginia for more than 12 years, playing music for kids of all ages and
developing a following of several thousand Knick Knack Kids. He was named “Favorite
Children's Entertainer" by DC Baby and is the regular featured children's entertainer at President
John DeGioia's annual Holiday Party at Georgetown University in Washington. Entertaining
audiences of all ages for more than 40 years, Mister Don has won numerous awards, including
the Washington Area Music Assocation Wammie award for Childrens Vocalist and the Childrens
Artist Wammie award. Through his performances, Tony Martirano uses fun, interactive music to
promote goodness in the world. Crooked Landing, an all acoustic, light hearted duet, provide an
impressive showing of skill, presented in a quaint environment that will excite and entertain any
audience.
