•This event was put
together by a group of
volunteers to help
celebrate the Town of
Richmond Hill

•This event is being
promoted on the
yorkscene site, as well
as throughout the
Town of Richmond Hill
•This year, these two household
names teamed up to give their fans
something new, and that was the birth
of Watch the Throne.

•This concert has been advertised on
radio stations and blog sites
worldwide, and Toronto’s very own
flow 93.5 had a contest where people
phoned in to win a pair of tickets to
the show and entered into a grand
prize draw; a $1000 shopping spree
with a Rocawear stylist.

•The concert took place at the Air
Canada Center and they advertised
the event on their homepage as well,
with links to buy tickets to attend the
show.
 The Richmond Hill Center for
  Performing Arts presents The
  Nutcracker! The play will be
  coming to the stage December
  15, 2011 at 2pm.
 The name speaks for itself, but
  this performance will be
  featuring some new talent.
 The play is being advertised on
  yorkscene and Victoria Ballet
  Academy. These sites provide
  information about the ballet,
  the dancers involved, as well as
  information about the ballet
  company from which the ballet
  dancers come from.
 Took place Wednesday November 23, 2011 at the Seneca
  Markham Campus
 The students in the Events Marketing Management
  (EMM) program hosted the event at their campus for all
  Seneca students.
 The Stair Climb, which started last year works together
  with the United Way York Region to help raise awareness
  about United Way and to also raise money to help those
  attached to the United Way.

    are two popular events that
    happen in the two most extreme
    seasons
   Besides the food and restaurants
    speaking for themselves, word of
    mouth is just one form of
    promotion for
    Winter/Summerlicious. They
    have an active facebook and
    twitter account where they can
    post different venues and deals
    for those following them to try
    or choose as their stop for the
    evening, and it is also advertised
    on the City of Toronto website.
One of Shakespeare’s

lovers is coming to the
stage at the Four
Seasons Center for
Performing Arts.

The play is running from
November 20-November
27th, 2011 and is
featuring performers
from the National Ballet
of Canada.

The Santa Claus parade, which has been an annual event since 1905, had families
braving the cold weather to catch a glimpse of more than 25 different-themed floats,
22 bands, 100 celebrity clowns, and of course, Santa!
The Santa Claus parade has been such a successful event and growing every year.
They publicize the parade through different media outlets like The Toronto Star
and facebook, as well as seeing it advertised on televison.
The media has helped play a big part in the popularity of the parade as well as get
people excited about the new bigger and better floats, and the special surprises that
you see along the way.
The Town of Aurora is keeping their residents busy this festive
season, making sure there is never a dull moment.

The 7th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place December
7th, 2011 from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Town Hall Courtyard.

It promises to be an exciting evening filled with caroling, hanging
a decoration on the tree, and story time with Mrs. Claus. At the
end of the evening there is the play “The Grinch that Stole
Christmas” presented by Canadian Childrens Theatre Co. in
Council Chambers.
