3. INTRO
I set out to find:
- something useful.
- something relevant make the everyday a little easier
-something that people would want to use

4. EXPLORATION
manual input of data track things in our life
one extra step = tedious, “I’ll remember, it’s important to me”
we become our own enemy, with the devices we
use as our accomplice.

5. INSIGHT
I found two things in life that suck:
1 ) reminder apps that are too annoying to set on a consistent basis
2 ) people constantly forgetting to stay on top of their health

6. CHALLENGE
Taking two things which require consistency, to make:
reminder apps = more efficient
people = less forgetful

7. SOLUTION
In order to do this:
the reminder app must “know” you & your environment well enough to achieve
efficiency
& in the case of taking medication:
the reminder app must “know” how you take your meds/vitimans/supplements

8. Utility
An app that understands you and your health, and works hard to “buzz” you
reminders that support you in staying as healthy as you could and should be.

9. HOW It WORKS
Upon first use, input personal preferences, including:
-Name, Age, Height, Weight, Gender (as you scan more,
Beehealthy will match to your personal profile for verification
purposes)
-Primary pharmacy/drug store of choice
-Your homebase (“current location”)
-Your city & state
- allergy information

10. HOW It WORKS
Using your mobile device’s camera, Beehealthy scans the barcode
of the medication/vitamin/supplement you want to start taking.

11. HOW It WORKS
Scan accesses database, and automatically registers
all necessary data and sets all the”buzz” reminders
in order to efficiently alert a Beehealthy user.
A “buzz” is a friendly push notification aimed at reminding you
about all the items you have scanned into your Beahealthy app.
Based on your personal preferences & database information, your
mobile device will alert you in appropriate intervals with a “buzz”.

12. HOW It WORKS
A “buzz” will say things like:
- “time to take your ________ pill”
- “time to call your pharmacy for a refill”
- “there are 9 days until you are out of ______ pills”
more to “buzz” about for medication:
-expiration date notice
-suggested intake reminder (“swallow with water”, “remember to
eat before you take ______ pill”)
-instant access to pharmacy contact info, perscription info,
& location of nearest pick-up

“buzz” settings based on suggested daily dosage
but can be adjusted in personal preferences
upon scanning, Beehealthy will ask:
-the location of the place you most frequently work out
- “buzz” will appear when you return from the gym

WORKS WITH YOUR DAY
Beahealthy is able to access the alarms you have
already set in your clock app on your mobile device.
This will allow Beahealthy to know when you wake up
and when you go to sleep, and schedule each “buzz”
based on the time that you start your day.

“TRACKING YOU AROUND TOWN”
With geo-location tracking, Beehealthy can increase it’s “buzz” efficiency by:
-recognizing when you leave “home base” and reminding you to take your MVS with you
-alerting when you are close to your to pharmacy, telling you to pick up a prescription refill
-alerting when your MVS’s are on sale
-knowing you are close to an MVS expiring/running out, and alerting you when near vendor

Allows for Beehealthy to monitor key words like By connecting to FourSquare, Beehealthy can track
“lunch” and “dinner” so it can send you a buzz, where you are and “buzz” you better.

-Tracking health this way is a trend that is gaining popularity.
-Makes effiecient use of “location-based reminder” technology.
-Frequent reminders and connections to how the users lives their life (besides the
fact that they want to take something for their health) makes more personal

Beehealthy is a utility that uses the efficient technologies of today’s mobile
devices to make for a better, more personal reminder app, for an instance in peo-
ple’s lives that is not good to forget about.
It gets rid of the extra step of inputting manual data and does all the remember-
ing for you, so you can go about your day with one less thing to worry about.
