Inputs We here at the USO need funding to support the varies programs that we have. We need help to fund our operations and staff. Help taking care of all the volunteers that aid in our programs. Funding for all of our fundraisers and tour shows.
Processes We here at the USO are using the funding that we receive to provide families with the care and financial services while their loved ones are on duty or have fallen in the line of duty. The Connection The Shuttleworth foundation is committed to change, large scale or small, globally or locally but change nonetheless. They are look for ideas that will challenge the status quo in areas like technology, telecommunications and resource support. The USO’s aim is to do just that by always looking to for new ways to aid in the support of our service men/women and their families. With programs like USO2GO, that sends resources to troops overseas and their communication program that allows troops to stay in contact with their families with video calls. The USO also has programs in fields like medical, education and financial aid so that loved ones on the homestead can receive help no matter what confounding situation may arise. With the Shuttleworth foundations help the USO can and will help change the world even if it is only a few people at a time. Shuttleworth-USO
Critical Thinking By using critical thinking we can seek out methods and assess new ideas to help change the disposition of families and active soldiers. By using logic to determine ideas, we will help to change the situation for the best. This has been shown with something as small as a calling card or as large as musical instruments and entertainment systems. We have to make connections and think ahead so we can allot the right programs for the right reasons to have maximum efficiency. For example we set up fundraising tours to raise money for families with fallen loved ones.
Critical Action By taking informed action, we can reach soldiers that we could not have reached before. By taking action and putting on shows or sending care packages to soldiers, it’s amazing to see their stress and anxiety just dissipate as if they never left home. By taking their thoughts, ideas and by using critical action they can make their goals real.
Personal connection My personal connection with this program is that I have a lot of friends that are serving or have fallen in the line of combat. I personal have given time to help in the aid of soldiers by helping building care packages and donating money. I know with even my small contribution I’m helping the men and women of our armed services feel at ease in the fact there are people are standing behind then in all that they do .
How You Can Help With our troops all over the world, we can all help out by building care packages so they can be sent to are troops. We can donate money to organizations that support troops and also donate our time at fundraisers and activity's dedicated for service members. There are programs that you can donate unwanted vehicles and cell phones, or buy merchandise through places like MissionFish on eBay. United Service Organizations P.O.
