Looks like WABetaInfo has enabled deep features and thrown them to the public. The publication sent a screenshot of the “introduction screen” indicating that transcription is not available. This transcription message will now support all languages, but for this, the user will have to manually select the language of the voice message. For example, if the transcription message is different from the language of the voice message, then WhatsApp will not be able to recognize it.

Webteinfo notes that locally relevant languages are always downloaded to the device, so you’re not the only one reading
them.
Nothing has come from WhatsApp yet that it is going to start audio transcription for the users. There is no indication
that this feature is under development for Android.

This feature is not seen for the first time. Apart from this, in September 2021, WABetaInfo released a demo video of
transcription voice messages.
