This document outlines objectives and criteria for evaluating the effectiveness and user-friendliness of input and output devices. Effectiveness is defined as a device's ability to facilitate efficient and usable interactions between users and computers. Key aspects of effectiveness include usability, efficiency, user satisfaction, and reliability. User-friendliness refers to how easily users can interact with a device. Easy to use, responsive, clear in error handling, and aesthetically pleasing designs contribute to user-friendliness. The class will be divided into groups to test and evaluate different cellphone interfaces based on these criteria.
