This patent document describes a floor cleaning machine with a selectively adjustable steering mechanism. The floor cleaning machine includes a chassis supported by wheels, including a steerable wheel connected to a housing. The chassis has multiple movable housing members, including one associated with the steering wheel. The front housing can be rotated or moved away from the other housings without requiring disconnection of the steering wheel, allowing access to internal machine components.
This document is a patent that describes compositions and methods for polymerase-dependent, nucleotide transient-binding sequencing methods. The methods rely on the fact that the polymerase transient-binding time is longer for a complementary nucleotide compared to a non-complementary nucleotide. Labeled nucleotides are used that transiently bind the polymerase in a template-dependent manner without incorporating. The methods can be performed under conditions that allow transient binding but inhibit incorporation to deduce the sequence of a template nucleic acid or perform single nucleotide polymorphism analysis.
Systems and methods for visual presentation and selection of IVR menuTal Lavian Ph.D.
This document is a patent for a system and method for visual presentation and selection of interactive voice response (IVR) menus. It describes a system comprising a processor and memory that stores telephone numbers associated with IVR menus grouped by category. The memory also contains instructions for the processor to automatically communicate with destinations implementing IVR menus and receive customization records to store in an IVR database. The document provides background on related patents and prior art and describes the system and method in more detail.
Systems and methods to support sharing and exchanging in a networkTal Lavian Ph.D.
Embodiments of the invention provide for providing support for sharing and exchanging in a network. The system includes a memory coupled to a processor. The memory includes a database comprising information corresponding to first users and the second users. Each of the first users and the second users are facilitated for sharing or exchanging activity, service or product, based on one or more conditions corresponding thereto. Further, the memory includes one or more instructions executable by the processor to match each of the first users to at least one of the second users. Furthermore, the instructions may inform each of the first users about the match with the at least one of the second users when all the conditions are met by the at least one second user based on the information corresponding to each of the second users.

The document provides background on the invention and cites several other related patents and publications.
Inventors and entrepreneurs have vocations fueled by passion. Many would have done it for free or as a hobby if it hadn’t become a profession. Mark Rosenzweig is a natural creator, driven by his passion. This fuel has led Mark to develop his ideas into viable products and innovations that he has been patenting since 2003. From an innovative filter sensor and indicator for vacuum cleaners to a basket for deep fryer and methods of cooking food products to a compact cyclonic bagless vacuum cleaner. Sometimes independently and often as part of creative teams, Mark has patented just under one hundred innovative inventions between 2003 and 2017.
The document is a design patent for a rack for holding a wine glass and bottle. The design patent includes 5 figures that show the rack from different angles. This patent document describes a new design for a floor cleaning device with 10 figures showing the design from multiple angles. The inventors are from Breuer Electric Mfg. Co. in Chicago and are seeking a 14 year term for the design patent. The design includes references to prior floor cleaning device patents but claims the specific design shown in the figures.
This patent document describes a floor cleaning apparatus that has both an extraction system and a squeegee system. It includes a drivable chassis with cleaning solution and recovery tanks. Downwardly directed spray nozzles apply cleaning solution to the floor, which is then agitated by brushes. Vacuum shoes behind the brushes draw the solution into the recovery tank. The apparatus can clean both hard and soft floor surfaces using liquid cleaning solutions and can operate at higher speeds than walk-behind models, as it is self-propelled.
This patent describes a floor cleaning machine with an improved wiping device. The wiping device uses a front flap and rear flap to define a suction chamber for removing dirty cleaning liquid from the floor. The front flap can be provided with indentations of varying sizes to control the suction pressure and noise level. Notably, at least a portion of the front flap is in the form of a removable tab. This allows the user to selectively remove the tab to form a larger opening, reducing suction noise for sensitive environments while maintaining high suction capability with the smaller openings.
This document describes floor cleaning and polishing equipment. It has a shaft that is pivotally attached to a base so it can be adjusted to different angles. To achieve an adjustable handle position, the shaft has a retractable rod with an end that can lodge in perforations on an arcuate strip below the shaft end. This immobilizes the shaft at the desired angle. The strip can have two holes to position the shaft upright or at a preset angle, or more holes for additional angles. The strip can also be located under the base for a compact design.
The patent is for a floor cleaning apparatus that has the following key features:
1) It uses a wet cleaning process with at least one downwardly directed spray nozzle that sprays cleaning solution from an onboard tank onto the floor.
2) At least one agitation brush is located rearward of the spray nozzle to agitate the cleaning solution on the floor.
3) At least one vacuum shoe located rearward of the agitation brush draws the cleaning solution into an onboard recovery tank.
4) In some embodiments, the apparatus is drivable to clean large floor areas more efficiently. It can be used to effectively clean both hard and soft floor surfaces.
This document describes a multi-functional floor-cleaning tool that includes a housing with squeegee blades, an interior space, liquid and soil openings. It has a diverter valve connected to the housing that can selectively direct pressurized liquid from an inlet to a high-pressure or low-pressure nozzle. The high-pressure nozzle delivers a liquid jet into the interior space, while the low-pressure nozzle delivers liquid exterior to the space. The tool allows for cleaning floors using pressurized liquid delivery and vacuum soil uptake in a single device.
The patent describes a cleaning implement such as a mop made of strips of absorbing material. The implement has a lengthwise bunch of absorbing strips with one end compressed together. This compressed end has an injection molded core of thermoplastic resin penetrating and surrounding it. The core anchors the compressed end of strips and can be configured to attach to a handle or provide a finished shape for a handling member. The implement is formed using an injection molding process where the compressed strips are injected with resin from multiple nozzles to form the anchoring core.
This document describes a floor cleaning machine that has a brush to scrub floors with cleaning liquid and a wiping device to scrape floors and remove dirty liquid. The wiping device has a front and rear flap that suction up liquid into a chamber connected to suction means. The front flap has indentations to convey liquid into the chamber. It also has a removable tab portion that can be removed to form a broader passageway, reducing suction noise. The invention provides a versatile front flap that can be used to favor suction capacity or reduced noise based on user needs.
