This document summarizes a 35-year-old female patient's history of urolithiasis (kidney stones). She presented with bilateral loin pain for 10 hours, along with fever, nausea and vomiting. Tests at another hospital revealed a 10mm kidney stone in her upper ureter. Her medical history included recurrent kidney stones 9 years ago and prior surgeries. Her physical exam showed tenderness in her left lumbar region. She is being treated with medications while waiting for potential ESWL (extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy) surgery if medical expulsion therapy fails to remove the stone.
