- The Government of India launched the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Housing for All Urban (PMAY-HFA-U) program to provide housing for all eligible urban families by 2022. - Houses can be provided under four components: in situ slum redevelopment, credit linked subsidy scheme, affordable housing in partnership, and beneficiary-led individual house construction (BLC). - The Government of Andhra Pradesh formulated the PMAY-YSR (U) scheme to provide permanent houses to the poor residing in urban local body and urban development authority areas under the BLC component.

• GoI has launched “Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana–Housing for All-Urban”

• Under PMAY-HFA–Urban, houses can be provided under (4) components.

• Beneficiary can avail benefit under any one of the (4) components.
• Nodal Agency :
MA & UD Department notified as State Level Nodal Agency (SLNA) to
implement Housing for All in Urban Areas.

• State Level Mission Directorate: A.P. Township and Infrastructure Development
Corporation (APTIDCO) created under the control of MA&UD Dept.
• Executing Agencies:
1. APSHCL is Executing Agency for BLC programme.
2. APTIDCO is Executing Agency for AHP programme.
• Coverage Area:
1.All (120) statutory Towns/ULBs are eligible for coverage under PMAY HFA
- Urban.
2.All (17) UDAs covering 133 Assembly Constituencies (Fully & Partly)
besides 16 Pure Urban Assembly Constituencies in 13 Districts constituted
by GoAP are eligible under PMAY-HFA - Urban.
• GoAP formulated scheme PMAY –YSR (U) for providing permanent houses to
the poor residing in ULB & UDA areas.

b) Plinth area : 340 Sft. (with accommodation of a Bed room, Living
room, Kitchen, Bath cum toilet and Verandah)
c) Unit cost : Rs. 1,80,000/-
d) Financing pattern:

e) Eligibility:
Beneficiary having Annual income upto Rs.3.00 lakhs, living in
Municipal limits/ UDA Villages having (1). House site - Own / Govt.
(2). Aadhar card and (3).White Ration card are eligible.

5. f) Approval of building plan:
GoAP exempted the approval of building plans by Municipal Commissioners.
g) Selection of Beneficiaries:
Commissioners in ULBs and Vice Chairmen in UDAs are selection Authorities.
h) Administrative Sanction:
District Collector accords administrative sanction after validating the beneficiaries
in Housing website.
i) Type design:
Suggestive type designs are made available to the beneficiaries to choose the plan
according to the site conditions.
j) Release of stage wise payments to beneficiaries:
Transparent way is following in release of stage wise payments to the Aadhar
linked bank accounts of the beneficiaries through NPCI.

6. k) Payment options:
The following three options have been provided to the beneficiaries in
construction of houses.
1. Government will supply material and labour portion will be paid in cash to the
beneficiaries.
2. Beneficiaries can procure the materials themselves and Government will pay them
entire amount in cash based on stages.
3. Government will fully facilitate the beneficiaries in construction of houses
including supply of materials.
l) Mapping:
Beneficiaries to be attached to the sanctioned Projects in PMAy-MIS website.
m) Geotagging :
Geotagging to be done for vacant site and also during 4 stages of construction as a
physical evidence of house constructed using Bhuvanhfa app 2.1 version.
• Dynamic validation is done while registration of beneficiaries in APSHCL Web site
with Aadhar, Ration Card & coverage of the family in Previous Govt. Housing
schemes to weed out duplicates.
