OBJECTIVE: Identifying
metamorphic patterns
and applying them to
micro and macro scale
urban design.
IDEA: To create spaces
with given patterns.
We made anfractu-
ous, retiform and a
70-30 composite of it
interface at X-Y-Z axis
respectively. Surfaces
were achieved by the
point clouds derived
from the above inter-
face. The multiple iter-
ations are a result of
intersecting surfaces
‘n’ number of times.
CHALLENGES:
•	 Identifying charac-
teristics of given
pattern.
•	 Setting rules for
their interface.
•	 Designing modular
form which can not
only be studied in
micro and macro
scale but recreated
with given instruc-
tions.

able by 2050 in terms
of water and energy.
IDEA: To achieve 100%
locally sourced water,
100% renewable ener-
gy for LA county and to
preserve the lifestyle
of LA by densifying 1
boulevard so the rest
of LA can be as they
are.
CHALLENGES:
•	 Understanding pro-
gramming of sys-
tems at an urban
scale.
•	 Articulate narrative
as this was a pro-
posal made to the
people of LA besides
the Mayor.
BRIEF: The annual
water and energy sup-
ply and demand for LA
County was document-
ed and analyzed at
city, neighborhood and
per capita scale. On
thorough background
research Wilshire bou-
levard was chosen for a
Transit Oriented Devel-
opment (TOD) along a
proposed Metro purple
line for an additional 1
Million people expect-
ed to move to LA by
2050.

IDEA: To achieve 100% locally sourced water, 100% renewable ener- gy for LA county and to preserve the lifestyle of LA by densifying 1 boulevard so the rest of LA can be as they are. CHALLENGES: • Understanding pro- gramming of sys- tems at an urban scale. • Articulate narrative as this was a pro- posal made to the people of LA besides the Mayor. BRIEF: The annual water and energy sup- ply and demand for LA County was document- ed and analyzed at city, neighborhood and per capita scale.
