2.  MOS testing Activity of PTA
3G DT ENGINEER (WCDMA Mobilink Roll Out Project):(Agust-2014)
 Performed SSV(single site verification) and examine performance of network, coverage and
quality issues, interferences, and call blocking issues. Prepare report on problems of each
SSV using TEMS v15.2 &16.1.
 HSDPA Testing, HSUPA testing, R99 UP & R99 DL testing.
 Performed Neighbor Audits, removing frequency clashes.
 Customer complaint resolution. Visited customer place and solve their problems
 Performed Indoor surveys & re-homing activities.
 Identifying different network problems like drop call, soft and softer handover failure etc.
 Testing for feeder swaps and observation of traffic behavior and congestion in the network.
 Identification of faults and issues during the drive test e.g. sector swaps (complete & partial),
SC clashes (adjacent and co-channel interference), Handover failures, Call drops, , missing
neighbors, overshoots etc
 Drive test/Walk test to determine PS,CS , softer/soft handover, cell Reselection and IRAT
issues and resolved it on field.
 Identifying different network problems like drop call, block call, missing neighbor, missing intra

 Drive test for on air sites for diagnosing quality and Interference issues.

 Drive test using TEMS investigation , to identify and resolve the Network issues like faulty
TRX identification, sector swap, and TX/RX cable swap.
 To analyze daily traffic stats (SDCCH overflow, HOSR, CSSR, DCR etc) and give
recommendations to improve KPIs.
 Handover parameters tuning to cope with issues like, ping pong handovers, Slow and Late
Handovers.
 To analyze network performance, define and implement optimization changes.
 Drive test data analysis considering coverage, handover call drop, Rx Quality and
troubleshoot problematic areas.

3.  Cluster drive test optimization and resolve Customer Complaints with in deadlines.
 RF Benchmarking of different cities and devising the route plan for drive test.
 Neighbor audit and radio parameter audit to improve the Network Performance.
 BCCH & TCH frequency planning using NOP, MCOM and MapInfosoftware.
 Manual Neighbor audit and planning.
 Fine tuning of Handovers. Verifying that handovers between sectors and neighboring sites
take place.
 Monitor system performance indicators such as Receive level, Receive Quality, Dropped
calls, Blocked calls, HO failure and missing neighbors.
 GPRS & EDGE testing and report making by using TEMS and MapInfo.
 Optimization and performance enhancement of GSM network, coverage optimization by
change in Antenna Power, Tilt and Azimuth.
