2. INTRODUCTION
Cloud gaming also known as gaming on demand or gaming as a
service.
Cloud gaming, is a type of online gaming that runs games on
remote servers and streams them directly to a user’s device or
simply playing a game remotely from a cloud.
There are three ways by which cloud gaming is implemented.
1. Video streaming
2. File streaming
3. Command streaming

3. VIDEO STREAMING
Video streaming is associated with streaming an interactive
video. The player sends input commands to the server, thus,
controlling the game remotely. At the same time, the server
processes the operations and runs the game.
Image rendering occurs in the cloud on remote CPUs and
GPUs, while the gameplay video is transmitted to the user and
decoded on the local device.
Video streaming allows you to play at high settings and enjoy
good graphics; however, it requires a fast and stable Internet for
a comfortable game.

4. FILE STREAMING
File streaming is also known as stream file transfer. The technology
allows players to access the game after downloading a small
number of files of about 5% to their device.
Rendering and processing takes place in user’s PC or console.File
streaming technology allows game developers to reduce the cost of
producing media and sending patches to players.
Due to the fact that users are still forced to download files to their
device, they still need to have powerful equipment and use the
device where these files are stored.

5. COMMAND STREAMING
In command streaming, game logic and graphic commands are
processed in the cloud, while rendering occurs locally on the user's
device.
Compared to streaming an interactive video, this approach reduces
the load on the network. Sending commands requires significantly
less bandwidth from the Internet compared to transmitting a video. It
also allows you to reduce latency.
The problem with this method is that the game graphics are limited by
the GPU capabilities of the device being used for the gameplay.

6. GAMING PLATFORM
Cloud gaming consists of four modules namely .
Thin Client Interaction.
Game Logic.
GPU Renderer.
Video Encoder.
->
8. BENEFITS OF CLOUD GAMING
No need to update the hardware.
Instant game launch.
Location independence.
Cross-platform.
Potential integration with other devices.

9. LIMITATIONS OF CLOUD
GAMING
Fast and stable internet connection.
Packet loss.
Latency.
1. Network Delay (ND)
2. Processing Delay (PD)
3. Game Delay (GD)
4. Playout Delay (OD)
Limited bandwidth.
