From darkness to light, my story is not just about me, but about the journey of resilience, reinvention, and hope.
For 16 years, I was trapped in a cycle of domestic abuse that started when I was just 12 years old. My attempts to escape reality through drugs, alcohol, and partying only led me down a darker path. But I refused to let my story end there.
After a reorg from my 20+ year corporate career, I took six months off to focus on myself and my family. I had no clue where to start but I knew I just had to start. Through daily journaling and reflection, I found my voice, purpose and goals.
As a mother and stepmother of six kids, I know that life can be unpredictable, especially with five of them having ADHD and one with the addition of ODD, BPD, and schizophrenia. With a stronger 'mind muscle' and by letting go of what no longer served me, I was able to create a thriving life and live my professional dream as Founder & Chief Reinvention Officer @ILV Consulting.
My journey has inspired me to create 10 mind-mastering brain teasers that help...
