This document provides instructions for a university assignment involving analyzing differences in men and women's life cycles and how race and class impact family opportunities. Students are asked to: 1) Complete a chart on differences between men and women in adolescence, marriage roles, parenthood, and opportunities impacted by gender. 2) Draw genograms of two families of different races/classes, either real or from TV. 3) Answer questions comparing the families and how race/class impact education, career, lifestyle and opportunities at different life stages for individuals in each family.
