The phrasal verb work in two different ways:

Remember that some phrasal verbs can have more than one meaning and that,
depending on the meaning, the verb can be separate or inseparable.

5. All the expressions in this exercise are to do with understanding or not understanding what
somebody has said, try to read the sentence and choose the correct words to complete them
