- 4. Direct Speech •Directแปลว่า ตรง •DirectSpeech คือ การยก คาพูดจริงๆของผู้พูดทั้งหมดมา เล่าให้ฟังโดยไม่เปลี่ยนแปลง
- 5. Direct Speech •Direct Speechทาได้โดย โดยอาศัยการนาคาพูดนั้นมา ไว้อยู่ในเครื่องหมายคาพูด (QuotationMarks (“…”)) โดยมี comma (,) คั่นกลางระหว่างประโยคที่ยกมาพูดถึง และ ประโยคหลัก โดยประธานที่อยู่ในเครื่องหมายคาพูด จะต้องเป็นตัวใหญ่เสมอ เช่น •He said,“I willcleanthe house.”
- 6. Indirect Speech •Indirect Speech(Reported Speech)คือ การ นาคาพูดมารายงานให้ผู้อื่นฟัง หรือ การดัดแปลง คาพูดมาให้เป็นคาพูดของผู้เล่านั่นเอง เช่น • He said that hewouldclean the house.
- 7. การเปลี่ยนDirect เป็นIndirect Direct -He said, “I have got a toothache”. Indirect - He said that he had got a toothache.
