This document provides instructions for an assignment asking students to translate a written argument into a PowerPoint presentation and then write a 3-page reflection analyzing their rhetorical choices. Students are asked to consider how the new medium of PowerPoint affects the argument, and to focus on time management, arguing versus simply regurgitating information, and making the project accessible to audiences when creating their presentation. They must then reflect on the factors that influenced what they emphasized in their translation, including medium, audience and rhetorical appeals used.
