• A product manager(PM), is a responsible for guiding the
success of a product in line with business strategic
objectives. The PM is the person responsible for defining
the why, when, and what of the product that the
engineering team builds.
• Product managers provide the deep product expertise
needed to lead the organization in making strategic
product decisions. They often analyse market and
competitive conditions and lay out a product vision that is
differentiated, to deliver unique value based on customer
demands.

Classroom Exercises
1. Choose a product you like and use quite often. Now
imagine you’re PM of that product. Come up with a
backlog of tasks you would want to see in that product.
2. Brainstorm on products that failed and what will you do
differently to ensure the product succeeds.
3. Set your life goals and assign timelines to achieve
them and prioritize based on your goals.
4. Analyse an existing product, breakdown into features
and let's determine the road map.
