Teachers play a vital role as catalysts for national development. They are responsible for educating and developing the skills and character of the next generation. Without proper guidance from teachers, knowledge alone has no meaning for national development. Teachers impart knowledge and help develop human resources to create jobs and fill positions in society. They also inculcate moral values and counsel students, making them well-suited to catalyze the processes needed for a country's development. A nation's teachers thus have a profound influence and their quality determines the quality of the education system and the nation as a whole.

The document provides a detailed summary and analysis of the scenes and techniques used in a film trailer. It describes the establishing shots used at the beginning to set the romantic mood and setting. This is interrupted by a loud crash, changing the tone. Subsequent scenes introduce the antagonists and elements of violence to create suspense and unease. Jump cuts and changing audio are used between shots of the protagonists to build tension without revealing what happens. Text frames are analyzed positively for their transitions, font and ability to engage the audience.
The opening sequence of Dirty Harry establishes the film's setting of San Francisco and theme of honoring police officers who died in the line of duty. It shows a stone plaque with the names of fallen officers carved into it. The camera zooms in and uses a wiping technique to gradually reveal the full list of names and dates. This establishes the context of danger and sacrifice within the police force before the film's story begins.
In the opening sequence of The Last of Us, three men in suits are interviewed about the zombie apocalypse occurring and the dangers they face. There are many close-up shots of the men to emphasize their importance and the focus is on their conversation. No background music is used so the audience focuses on what the men say.

The opening sequence introduces the main companies involved in production and the title of the film in simple font, establishing conventions. It then shows a long shot of a train approaching in a dark, smoky setting with low key lighting, conveying the dark and mysterious thriller genre. A close up of a sly-looking man on the train is accompanied by a tense, non-diagetic soundtrack. The extract ends with the man leaving the frame and a statue coming into focus, possibly foreshadowing events around injury in the film.

4.how did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, pl...Vishal Dhariwal
New media technologies were used at various stages of the project. YouTube was used for research and planning by examining other artists' music videos. PowerPoint and SlideShare were used to create and share presentations. Blogger allowed blogging and sharing work. Google was used for initial research. A Canon DSLR camera and tripod were used to film the music video. Adobe Premiere Pro was used to edit the video. Adobe Photoshop was used to create promotional materials.
3. what have you learned from your audience feedback?Vishal Dhariwal
The document summarizes audience feedback from a music video, digipack, and magazine advert created for a school project. Most audience members correctly identified the music video's genre as pop, noting its fast pace, bold colors, and editing in sync with the beat. All audience members saw a consistent theme of paint across the tasks. They also understood the narrative message of a controlling relationship in the music video based on the characters' behaviors. However, feedback indicated that the video's locations and costumes lacked the flashiness expected in the pop genre.
How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?Vishal Dhariwal
The combination of the main product and ancillary texts is effective because it maintains consistency across elements. The design centers the artist as the main focus and uses a busy layout. Color usage links to the artistic narrative and persona, ranging from dark to light tones presented in a messy, splattered style. Mise en scene reinforces the painting theme through colors and backgrounds. Costume choices in the digipack and magazine represent the artist's negativity and creative freedom. A handwritten font appeals personally and stands out from conventional styles. Together, these components appeal to teens through late 20s by connecting narratives and maintaining conventions across the video and ancillary products.
The document discusses various videos and texts that influenced the planning of a music video for a pop song. It describes how Jackson Pollock's abstract painting style inspired the main character and a paint splattering scene. Yohji Yamamoto's black fashion gave the idea for the painter's costume to go against pop conventions. A "trunk shot" camera angle from Quentin Tarantino films was adapted. Nicki Minaj's fast editing in "Stupid Hoe" will be used when the beat rises. A dance studio channel helped with choreography fitting for pop. Gaining influences while developing original ideas will give the music video its own style within the pop genre.
Postmodernism describes artistic movements from the late 20th century that reject absolute truths and definitions. Postmodernist works often reference and mix styles from the past to challenge norms and express new perspectives. Key concepts include simulacra (copies of copies), intertextuality (references between media), pastiche (exaggerated parodies), and deconstruction to analyze postmodernism. The document discusses how the song and music video "Lyin' to Myself" by Todrick Hall exemplifies postmodernism through its references to other works like "Straight Outta Compton" while addressing current social issues. The author plans to apply postmodernist concepts in their own music video about class and status.
Rihanna's Unapologetic album cover breaks conventions by using a simple color scheme of black, white, and Rihanna's skin tone. It features a nude medium shot of Rihanna with short black hair and the word "Unapologetic" written across her chest. This minimalistic design puts the focus solely on Rihanna's image and confrontational pose. The cover depicts Rihanna's dual personalities - her public image and inner self. Analysis of the cover and music videos provided ideas for constructing visually appealing album packaging while breaking conventions.
The evolution of the mummy genre in film began with one of the earliest known mummy films in 1899. However, the popularity of ancient Egyptian-inspired films rose significantly after the discovery of King Tutankhamun's intact tomb in 1922, fueling public fascination with curses. This led Carl Laemmle Jr. to produce the seminal 1932 film The Mummy, starring Boris Karloff as the bandage-wrapped priest Imhotep. The Mummy spawned several sequels and the franchise was later revived by Hammer Film Productions and Universal Studios, with the 1999 remake launching a new series of films. However, mummy films have also faced criticism for historical and cultural inaccuracies in their portrayals of ancient Egypt.
The document traces the history and evolution of the horror genre from its origins in gothic literature in the 19th century through its establishment as a film genre in the 1920s-1930s. Key developments included the introduction of sound and color films in the 1930s, the rise of monster movies in the 1950s influenced by events like nuclear radiation, and the emergence of slasher films in the 1970s-1980s as technology allowed more realistic special effects. Different decades explored new themes, settings and subgenres, with found footage and remakes becoming popular in the 2000s-2010s.

2. The first scene shows a black background with a close up blood flowing to reveal to
display ancient Egyptian images with loud non-diegetic music. The close up points out
to the audience that the images in the blood are important.. The blood and dark lighting
indicates that there will be some sort of danger, threat or even death in the film. The
camera continues to pan to show more images from different old cultures.
3. As more close up of images are shown, they increasing become disturbing presenting
death. This emphasises the grim nature of the film. The images show people being
killed or perhaps being sacrificed, which might be what the film is centred around.
4. After the last close up image of many bodies falling, there is a fast pan to a modern day
sign. This scene cuts to a close up of a person putting money in a coffee machine. It then
cuts to a medium long shot of two men having a conversation with background lift music
as the diegetic sound, creating a relaxed and causal scene. The background setting looks
as if it is in a office.
5. Cuts to an over the shoulder shot with an eye level angle showing the perspective of
one of the two men. Since these two characters are the first to be shown means that
they are important in the narrative of the film. A cut to a short scene showing an over
the shoulder shot from the perspective of the other man. Cuts back to the first over
the shoulder shot. The casual conversation carries on with diegetic sounds of money
going in the machine and a coffee cup coming out.
6. Back to a medium long shot and a very little camera tilt following the man exiting
the room. Cuts to a long shot of the entire office with a non-diegetic sound the
voice of a woman on a speaker and of busy workers in the background. Another
cut to the camera tracking the two men as they walk down a corridor as they
talk.
7. A cut to a quick long shot of the whole office and then cuts back to eye level, medium
tracking shot. The two men are joined by a woman in a lab coat and continue with their
conversation. Cuts back to a long shot of the three walking down the corridor and then
cuts back to the medium shot.
8. Cut to long shot of a large room with workers and carts. The three can be
seen in the distance still talking. Cut to next scene of a medium shot and the
camera pans as the two men get on the cart while the woman still talks to
them. Again cuts to a medium shot with a side angle as the two men speak
to the woman.
9. Quickly cuts back to the medium shot with a front view of the two men and the woman.
Cuts to the long shot of the room and shows the two men driving off in the cart. Cut to a
medium shot of the two men while they are driving and continuing their conversation,
with diegetic sound of the cart driving.
10. Abruptly, the Film title appears with bold font and red. The is also sudden non-diegetic
sound of screaming and music. The shot of the two men is paused in the background. The
scream added with the big, bold and red font of the film title as well as the loud music,
again highlights to the audience that the film will have danger, deaths, gore, violence and
overall the film will be a horror.
