New Brochure Outlines Valuable Home Assistance Programs
For Low- and Moderate-Income Pasadena Residents
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DATE: November 22, 2013
As too many Americans struggle with unemployment, poverty and home foreclosures, Pasadena
Water and Power has partnered up with three organizations to create Under One Roof to help
cash-strapped residents buy, keep and revitalize their homes.
Designed specifically for low- to moderate-income families, Under One Roof provides money-
saving assistance programs that are available through Pasadena Water & Power (PWP), the City
of Pasadena Housing Department, Neighborhood Housing Services of Los Angeles County
(NHS) and GRID Alternatives.
Customers who participate in programs from all four organizations can earn $5,000 in home
efficiency improvements from PWP this spring. Visit www.PWPweb.com/HomeHelp or call
(626) 744-6970 to learn more.
In addition to rebates for home efficiency improvements PWP provides bill assistance for
eligible residents. This includes an Electric Utility Assistance Program for income-qualified
residents, seniors and customers with disabilities; Project A.P.P.L.E. for customers facing one-
time financial emergencies; and the Pasadena Medical Assistance Program for customers who
depend on qualifying medical equipment. Visit www.PWPWeb.com/Care or call (626) 744-6970
for details.
