The UMC Foundation of El Paso is the designated nonprofit organization that supports University Medical Center of El Paso, El Paso Children's Hospital, and Children's Miracle Network. The Foundation's mission is to promote health, wellness, and quality of life for El Pasoans by developing programs and supporting over 1,500 registered volunteers who provide over 2,300 volunteer hours annually. The Foundation offers CORE skills training and coordinates various service projects that provide compassionate care and supplies to patients and families in need.

throughout the hospital, families are identified
and referred to the Compassionate Care
Fund who as a result of illness or injury,
have exhausted the already strained family
resources and, as a result, are often without
the ability to provide even the most basic
needs for their families.
