And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.~Philippians 4:19~
So, if God will provide all of our needs then why are there still children who are suffering from hunger, poverty, and violence?of hope?
God tells us that the answer for the help these children need is in each of US
If you feed those who are hungry and take care of the needs of those who are troubled, then your light will shine in the darkness ~Isaiah 58:10~

55% of the people in Uganda live in extreme poverty making $1.25 each day
Only 4 out of 10 people can easily get to safe drinking water
The estimated 3.5 million orphans are orphaned due to AIDS, making it the highest proportion worldwide
Approximately 20,000 babies are infected by HIV annually
80% of women and children are forced to live in camps and slums because of surrounding conflict
Over 56,000 children under the age of 5 die each year because of malnutrition in Uganda alone
Over 25,000 children have been abducted by the LRA and used as child soldiers or trafficking slaves
About 1.5 million children in Uganda are said to be involved in child labor
By this time tomorrow, 12 more children will have died in Uganda
But there is one thing that they do have…
HOPE
A hope for life
A hope for love
A hope for peace
And a hope for Jesus
“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” ~Jesus
