Tough times don't last, tough people do!
This age old classic idiom never held as true as until now, when every individual,
in every corner of this world fought against all odds for survival and very
existence, be it life or livelihood. As a testimony for victory of good over evil, our
world can now with almost certainty put the negativities of the pandemic behind

The improvised hybrid model of online & of line working is now here to stay, paving way for modi ied
workspace environment and changing forever our perspective on requirements for physical presence of
workforce anywhere. This has led to increased ef iciencies of all soft assets, creating equal opportunities
for every player, large or small, that are now equipped with enhanced networking tools built as per
demandofcurrenttimes.
The Udaipur Chamber of Commerce & Industry has been at the forefront of ine tuning itself to these
changed scenarios, with the unprecedented holding of successful elections through E-voting. The
spearheading initiatives of our chamber for the business upgradation of every entrepreneur are
showcased through the Emerging Leaders Program, engaging members as well as non-members
through its MSME Development Cell and striving towards the upwardly recategorization of all existing
enterprisesfromMicrotoSmall,SmalltoMedium,andMediumtoLarge.
Having attended every single session of the Emerging Leaders Program myself followed up by detailed
one on one interactions with my proli ic mentors, I strongly vouch for enrolment into this educative
program.Onapersonalnote,theincorporationofbusinesspracticesIlearntherehavebeenpivotalinthe
exponential growth of my own business, with over 300% spurt in sales revenue generation compared to
pastyear.
Further, the stupendous success of our Digital Transformation Program is exempli ied in the acquired

I have tried to revamp the entire look of our newsletter in this current edition, making it vibrant through
visual appeal while continuing its primary objective to provide insights into all aspects of the UCCI's
achievements during June to September 2021. Through my humble efforts, I have covered the entire
spectrum of developments, initiatives and events with photo features of each so every reader receives an
in-depth awareness of our noble chamber's activities. In this endeavour, I sincerely request all members
and their families to come forward with their valued contributions on allied topics that may enlighten
fellow readers through knowledge for business development or keeping them abreast with latest
information.
I earnestly tender my whole-hearted gratitude to our respected President, Sh. Komalji Kothari for
entrusting me with the responsibility of realizing this newsletter, I extend my thanks to my co-editor,

It was reported by the newspapers that there was some
seepage of Marble Slurry from the Slurry dumping yard

which President Shri Komal Kothari requested Vice President

the complaints of villagers who were objecting to the low of

“Learning agility and curiosity are critical to succeed in this ever changing and evolving World. I always
look up to UCCI as one of the most reliable sources to help me evolve as a person and lead development
initiatives in the Organization. I attended a Leadership course two years ago which offered immense
learning. After the course UCCI aligned Mentors who invested time in guiding us. It was a great source of
learning & developing my skills. Such program’s motivate and challenge one’s thought process. UCCI has
recently started a new series of learning. Digitalisation was a start in this series. We came across many

our business environment and policies. These courses are very effectively structured to help drive

"The course put me on track for thinking about how to use digital tools as part of my business strategy to
achieve organisational goals. I have started tweaking digital marketing campaigns and started
experimenting with some tools like workdrive for better collaboration within the company. I can see
improvements in lead generation although it is still early days. Also, baby steps in achieving smoother
working and coordination between employees by use of workdrive and improvement in sharing of
reports.lwillfurtherrecommendsuchcourses."
