A NORM-REFERENCED TEST (NRT)
Is a type of test, assessment, or evaluation which
yields an estimate of the position of the tested
individual in a predefined population, with
respect to the trait being measured.
Is the process of evaluating (and
grading) the learning of students
against a set of pre-specified qualities
or criteria, without reference to the
achievement of others (Brown, 1998;
Harvey, 2004)

Performance-based learning and performance-
based assessment is a system of learning and
assessment that allows students to demonstrate
their knowledge and skills in a learning
environment that embraces their higher-order
thinking skills, as well as relating it to real-world
situations
PRODUCT ASSESSMENT
The Student Product Assessment Form can be used in a
variety of ways. Individual teachers, resource persons or
subject matter specialists can evaluate products
independently or collectively as members of a team.
. This assessment instrument should be used to guide students
toward excellence and therefore we strongly believe that it
should be shared and discussed with students before the
product is started
