Doug Marino from TxDOT's Bryan District presented several transportation projects currently under construction or development in College Station to the City Council. Four projects are currently under construction - a shared use path on South College Ave, raised medians on George Bush Dr, intersection improvements at Wellborn Rd/Holleman Dr, and a super street on FM 2818 from University Dr to Wellborn Rd. Several other major projects are under development, including expanding SH 6 from SH 21 to SH 40, building an underpass at George Bush Dr/Wellborn Rd, widening Wellborn Rd, adding a shared use path along SH 30 from Texas Ave to SH 6, and developing a pedestrian concept for FM 60 in the Northgate area.
