Types of TVCs
   Demonstration

     Theentire TVC is a display designed to prove the
     superiority of the product.

   Problem solution

     Thestoryline says I have a big problem and I’m
     upset, enter the product, the problem is solved
     and I am ever grateful.
   Product as a star

     The ad focuses on the product. The product itself
     acts in the ad.


   Spokesperson
     Single camera focused on the spokesperson
     telling good things about the product.
   Storyline
     Showing    a complete story in the ad, like a short
      feature film.



   Musical ad
     Music  is the most important element that takes
      the ad story forward. Difficult to write a storyline
      for them , hence a concept is presented.
   Vignette
     Uses more than one similar stories in one ad to
     drive the message home e.g. Iodex


   Animation
     Handdrawn or computer generated video work.
     Maybe combined with live action shots e.g.
     Colgate Herbal
   Stop action

     Somewhere     between true animation and live
     action. It is an animation technique to give life to
     inanimate real-life objects.
