Assignment                 Students will research, create, and present PowerPoint aided

                           Twenties.”

Goals:
Students will develop their skills in creating and delivering presentations using
PowerPoint software.
Students will gain insight into the age of the Roaring Twenties.
Objectives:
Students will create an effective PowerPoint presentation following instructor directives.
Students will pass a quiz on the key terms and people of the Roaring Twenties.
Lesson Plan Sequence of Events – give day-to-day details:
Day 1: Students will view a PowerPoint presentation containing tips on how to do
research on the internet as well as how to create presentations. Students will be given
assigned groups and choose their topic. They will receive a handout detailing what
specific information their group is responsible for.

Day2: Students will have time in class to collaborate and build their PowerPoint
presentations as well as detailing each group member’s role in the presentation. Students
will be shown how to upload a presentation to Slideshare.net to ensure availability the
next day.

Day 3: Groups will present their finding to the class and take questions on their topic.
Students will have printed forms on which to take notes on the presentations.

Day4: Quiz on the Roaring Twenties, Graded in class for instant feedback
