This document outlines a 7-step method using cards with pictures depicting adolescent situations to help teenagers learn how to handle different life experiences. The steps include: 1) discussing different responses to each situation; 2) writing personal accounts of relatable situations; 3) observing similar situations firsthand at the mall; 4) creating additional cards with new situations; 5) associating favorite songs with discussions; 6) creating decorated boxes to store problems; and 7) eating out at the mall to practice handling situations in a community setting. The overall goal is to help adolescents distinguish right from wrong when faced with real-life challenges.
