1. Never Underestimate the Power of God
H ezekiatr was one of only two kings in ludah who completely followed the Lord. ln the days of Esar-
f I haddon king of Assyria, l-lezekiah lay on his deathbed. lsaiah the prophet had predicted the king3
imminent death and told him to get his house in order.
But Hezekiah poured out his heart to the Lord and reminded God of His covenant, and how the l<ing had
faithfully led ludah. As lsaiah left the royal court, God heard Hezekiah's prayer and determined to heal him.
God kept the king alive for another L5 years.
God did for the king what Hezekiah could not do for himself. Both God and Hezekiah knew their roles:

4. Stay faithtul to the covenant.
