Anti Narcotics Club inaugurated

1. Trinity College of Engineering established an Anti Narcotics Club in collaboration with the Kerala Police
on 14th March 201 8. The function was inaugurated by Shri.Prasad , S I Naruvamoodu Police Station. Shri
J Joy CRO (ASI) also attended the function. An executive meeting of the committee with selected student
reps also held on that day. The executive committee consist of two PTA members, two faculty and 6
students besides the Principal and Vice Prinicipal.

rVamah solutions with an IDEA called ‘qkaapzz’
Vamah Solution, a softw are solutions provided presented their ideas and future plans to the Technolodge
team. They will start their operations in Trivandrum Technolodge at Trinity College of Engineering. Trinity
students will get the opportunity to learn hands on the latest trends in business intelligence and process
through the presence of Vamah on campus. Formal signing of MoLI and NDA will take place this month
itself.

W ITH a wide range of innova­
tions, from devices for monitor­
ing electricity consumption to
underwater drones, from smart
solar panels to m ilitary hard­
ware, the exhibition held as part
o f the first national summit for
hardware startups attracted the
attention o f both national and in­
ternational delegates.
Products of innovators belong­
ing to the 18-70 age group were
showcased at the expo.
One of the major attractions of
the expo was a robotic drone de­
veloped by EyeROV which oper­
ates underwater. The drone de­
veloped jo in tly by Johns T
M athai and Kannappa Pala-
niappan P A, is capable of send­
ing real-time videos o f ships and
underwater structures to facili­
tate their repair.
Another crowd puller was de­
fence equipment developed by a
Thiruvananthapuram-based Ce-
tron ics. T h e com pany was
form ed by people who retired
from C-DAC and youngengineer-
ing graduates having expertise in
m aking m ilitary devices. The
company exhibited its 'Gunshot
Detection System' which points
out the accurate location from
where a ininshot was fired, onoe
communication devices devel­
oped by the company - Profes­
sional Mobile Radio (PM R ) and
Wideband Pow er A m p lifier -
were also on display

several awards in national and
international competitions

nity for startups from across Ker­
ala and other parts of India to
exhibit their innovations before
stalls were allotted to startup
companies. Howiever, stalls o f in­
ternational brands like Bosh and
Wurth were also set up at the
expo,” Prasad Balakrishnan
