In a scale of importance ranging from one (lowest) to five (highest), what figure would you attribute to translation in the Capes Programme? 2. Do you translate every day (I love it)/every week (I have to love it)/every month (I hate it)/as seldom as possible/under torture…others??? 3. Do you translate back and forward into the two languages at one sitting, or do you separate the two? 4. How many times do you read the text through before you translate it: once (that’s enough!)/twice (more than enough)/three times (for God’s sake..) 5. Do you annotate your translation? With what?
