Translating words can be difficult for several reasons: The translator may not understand the context or intended meaning of an unfamiliar word. A word's possible translations may not be known, and the way a word is used in a sentence could differ from its usual meaning. Successfully translating requires understanding both the literal and implied meanings of words across languages and contexts.
