• Transfer of ownership means the transfer of
property of the goods from the seller to the
buyer which constitutes an ownership in the
buyer
• A contract of sale of goods involve Transfer of
ownership or property in goods and it is the
main object of making a contract of sale
• Ascertained goods are those goods which are identified in
accordance with the agreement after the contract of sale is
made
• Unascertained goods are those goods which are not
specifically identified or ascertained at the time making of
contract

• 💁In case of ascertained goods - the property
in them Is transferred to the buyer at such
time as the parties to the contract intend it to
be transferred
• 💁In case of unascertained goods-the goods
must have been ascertained

the consent of the other
