Academic Renewal Policy
Academic renewal is defined as one semester oftDlLV course work disregarded in all calculations regarding academic standing, grade point average, and eligibiliry for
graduation at UNLV. If summer courses are to be included in the work to be disregarded, then course work from all summer terms of the same calendar year shall count
as one semester. Students granted academic renewal may not graduate with academic distinctions. Disregarded grades may be calculated in scholarship awards or
financial aid consideration. The academic renewal policy became effective Fall 2004.

Academic Renewal Policy
Academic renewal is defined as one semester ofL|NI-. course work disregarded in all calculations regarding academic standing, grade point average, and eligibility for
graduation at LJNLV. If summer courses are to be included in the work to be disregarded, then course work from all summer terms of the same calendar year shall count
as one semester. Students granted academic renewal may not graduate with academic distinctions. Disregarded grades may be calculated in scholarship awards or
hnancial aid consideration. The academic renewal policy became effective Fall 2004.
