LIVESTRONG Survivorship Leadership Training Institute October 20–21, 2011 Omni Parker House Hotel Boston, MA This two-day training will facilitate capacity building for health care institutions to develop sustainable survivorship programs to better serve cancer survivors. Learn from leading experts in survivorship on topics such as: how to develop a sustainable survivorship program from the ground up, account for the dollars and cents of a survivorship program and address cancer survivors’ needs holistically. REGISTRATION FEE $300 per individual $400 per team Cancer Survivorship for Clinicians: Helping Survivors Live Well Beyond Cancer October 21–23, 2011 This third annual course is hosted by the Lance Armstrong Foundation Adult Survivorship Program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Harvard Medical School. Major topics include: specific medical issues in cancer survivorship, survivorship research programs, body image, living with cancer and health disparities. REGISTRATION FEE, BEFORE AUGUST 15 Physicians: $400 Allied health professionals: $275 REGISTRATION FEE, AFTER AUGUST 15 Physicians: $450 Allied health professionals: $325 The LIVESTRONG Survivorship Center of Excellence Network was established in 2005 to help accelerate the pace of progress in addressing the needs of the growing survivor community. By harnessing the expertise, experience, creativity and productivity of eight National Cancer Institute- designated cancer centers and their community affiliates, the ambitious goal was to change the face of survivorship and, ultimately, to increase the quality of life for people living with, through and beyond cancer.
