(TRAFFIC OFFENCE REPORTING)
GROUP MEMBERS:
INTERNAL GUIDE:
INTRODUCTION
• The actual strength of this project lies not merely in
regulating traffic laws and offences, but also in developing
“DEEPER BONDS” with users and providing a high
standard of service and support.
• This system is a web based application which is used to
help the road safety commission to DOCUMENT all road
traffic offences incurred by the road users.
PRODUCT PERSPECTIVE:
• It helps the user and officers to report the offence on TIME instead
of complaining to the police,whenever the offence takes place.
MODULES:
1.ADMIN as officer
• Admin has all the detailed information about the users and the
offence reported.
• The users can be added accordingly by the admin.
• The offence reporting is done on both the admin side as well as user
side.
2.USER
• Users must login before reporting the offence. The personal details is stored in the
database when the offence is reported.
3.REPORT OFFENCE
• The offence list is the list generated at the admin side which includes the name of the
user who has reported and what the report is all about.
4.OFFENCE LIST AND ACTIONS TAKEN
•It includes the offence list and mention what actions that are to be taken on the violators
5.LOCATION
•The details of offence is been traced and the information is gathered.
6.ADD USER
•The users can be added by the admin using some of details to report the offence
OPERATING ENVIRONMENT
•Operating environment for this application called Helping
Hands is mentioned below:
i. Client/server system
ii. Operating system: windows
iii.Data Base: MYSQL
iv.Software requirements: PHP, java script, html, CSS, Boot
strap
REQUIREMENTS
Performance Requirement:-
This application is portable as it displays all the
details/information related to offences, user details and status.
Safety Requirement :-
If there is extensive damage to a wide portion of the database
due to catastrophic failure, such as a disk crash, the recovery
method restores a past copy of the database that was backed up
to archival storage.
Security Requirement :-
Security systems need database storage just like many other applications.
We have to even check that the user/client details are true so that they
won't misuse our website. Unauthorized access should be not allowed.
Software Quality Attributes:-
•i. AVAILABILITY: The user should be available for reporting.
•ii. CORRECTNESS: The details/information uploaded on the website
should be verified
•iii. MAINTAINABILITY: The admin should maintain correct offence
report and status.
•iv. USABILITY: The user reports done should satisfy the needs of
admin
CONCLUSION
•This system helps the admin to get the reports through users
. As a citizens each and everyone can login and report the
violence with some of the information about the violators.
Further the actions are taken on the basis of the report.
