• As members of the Local Council you
have been required to write a report for
the Traffic, Parking and Transportation
Office describing the main problems that
take place around schools, especially at
arrival and dismissal times, and
suggesting possible solutions.
4. How to?
1. Organize yourselves in groups of 4 members.
2. Analyze the information presented in Unit 5 in your books. Pay special
attention to specific vocabulary.
3. Go around the downtown area and ask pedestrians, drivers, traffic
officers and/or other road users for their opinions about the problem
(you need to prepare a set of questions for an interview).
4. Surf the net to gather information related to regulations already adopted
by the City Authorities.
5. On the basis of all the information gathered, think of possible solutions.
6. Write your report.
