Introduction.
Expressions of quantity express an indeterminate
quantity, usually preceding a noun, article, or determiner.
Some frequent quantifiers include "some/any,"
"much/many," "(a) few/(a) little," "lots of/a lot of," and
"enough." These words specify how much or how many
of something exists, without providing a precise number.
Some/Any
 Some: Is used in affirmative statements.
 Any: In questions and negative statements, when referring to a
general or indefinite quantity, typically with plural or uncountable
nouns.
 I often have some fried egg for dinner
 Would you like any tea?
Much/Many.
Much: Is used with uncountable nouns (egg, water, time).
Many: With countable nouns (egg, books, people) to
indicate a large quantity.
 How much money do you have
 Cuánto dinero tiene usted
 How much wine does he drink?
 ¿Cuánto vino bebe?
 How many apples are there in the basket?
 ¿Cuántas manzanas hay en la canasta?
 How many stamps have you got in your collection?
 ¿Cuántos sellos tienes en tu colección?
Lots of/A lot of.
These phrases are used to express a large quantity with both countable
and uncountable nouns.

(A) Few / (A) Little:
Few (with a countable noun) and "little" (with an uncountable noun)
express a small or limited quantity, while "(a) few" and "(a) little"
indicate a somewhat larger, but still limited, quantity.
