Introduction of MAGO3D
One of goal of this project is seamless integration of indoor and outdoor space on top of web browser. This project aims at developing a sort of plugin for WebGL glove(Web World Wind, Cesium) to expand its functionalities and usabilities to indoor space and architectural (BIM) areas. MAGO3D can import IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) data from architecture files. And then MAGO3D can visualise massive indoor data, at least 100k objects, in a single scene seamlessly with traditional outdoor 3D GIS objects. Users can now manage and handle almost every geospatial object from desktop level to space level with MAGO3D. This project will evolve to manage and service more dynamic data such as IoT (Internet of Things), climate and weather data, and transportation.

State of GeoServer, GeoTools and Friends 2014
GeoServer and the Java toolkit GeoTools comprise one of OSGeoโs fastest moving mapping ecosystems. In addition to this core we will cover java-stack developments in JTS, GeoWebCache and ImageIO-Ext.
First up is โState of GeoServerโ reviewing the new and noteworthy features introduced in the past year. Our six month release cycle sees GeoServer 2.5 and 2.6 being released this year. These releases bring together exciting new features: WCS 2.0 and WCS 2.0 Earth Observation profile, batch importer, and a fresh implementation of GetFeatureInfo.
Switching to technical for a GeoTools update. A passion for performance sees improvements in PNG and JPEG encoding, rendering from PostGIS and experimental JDK work. This presentation provides a review of new features, api changes and community modules. We have simplified the core FeatureCollection interface, introduced partial 3D support, structured grid coverages, multiple grid coverages and extended JTS Geometry with Curves.
Data formats support continues to grow with the latest GeoPackage, native NetCDF support and a new shapefile and wfs client implementation. Database users have table and index management methods to look forward to. Extensions have seen a lot of activity with WMS client improvements, vector grids, and a transform extension for dynamic feature collection processing.

Do we need a new standard for visualizing the invisible?
At the OGC member meeting in Delft, Netherlands, my team from Gaia3D and I shared our experiences and the challenges we faced while visualizing large spatio-temporal datasets in digital twins. In conclusion, we discussed the necessity for a new standard, referred to as 'Voxel Tiles,' for visualizing spatio-temporal data.

Introduction of MAGO3D
One of goal of this project is seamless integration of indoor and outdoor space on top of web browser. This project aims at developing a sort of plugin for WebGL glove(Web World Wind, Cesium) to expand its functionalities and usabilities to indoor space and architectural (BIM) areas. MAGO3D can import IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) data from architecture files. And then MAGO3D can visualise massive indoor data, at least 100k objects, in a single scene seamlessly with traditional outdoor 3D GIS objects. Users can now manage and handle almost every geospatial object from desktop level to space level with MAGO3D. This project will evolve to manage and service more dynamic data such as IoT (Internet of Things), climate and weather data, and transportation.

State of GeoServer, GeoTools and Friends 2014
GeoServer and the Java toolkit GeoTools comprise one of OSGeoโs fastest moving mapping ecosystems. In addition to this core we will cover java-stack developments in JTS, GeoWebCache and ImageIO-Ext.
First up is โState of GeoServerโ reviewing the new and noteworthy features introduced in the past year. Our six month release cycle sees GeoServer 2.5 and 2.6 being released this year. These releases bring together exciting new features: WCS 2.0 and WCS 2.0 Earth Observation profile, batch importer, and a fresh implementation of GetFeatureInfo.
Switching to technical for a GeoTools update. A passion for performance sees improvements in PNG and JPEG encoding, rendering from PostGIS and experimental JDK work. This presentation provides a review of new features, api changes and community modules. We have simplified the core FeatureCollection interface, introduced partial 3D support, structured grid coverages, multiple grid coverages and extended JTS Geometry with Curves.
Data formats support continues to grow with the latest GeoPackage, native NetCDF support and a new shapefile and wfs client implementation. Database users have table and index management methods to look forward to. Extensions have seen a lot of activity with WMS client improvements, vector grids, and a transform extension for dynamic feature collection processing.

Introduction to OpenIndoorMap
This talk was given at the FOSS4G Asia 2021 held at Kathmandu, Nepal.
Have you ever heard about Open Indoor Map project? No? Don't worry about that you don't know the OIM(Open Indoor Map) project, because OIM is quite new project and not publicly well-known. OIM project got many inspiration from Open Street Map. OIM is a project to let users upload & share their indoor related data. Users can upload their IFC, CityGML, IndoorGML, 3DS data that represent indoor space to the OIM server and OIM server service those data through web in 3D. OIM project makes use of many open source project including mago3D, Assimp, and others. I expect OIM project could expand crowd-sourced map to indoor space as well by complementing Open Street Map.
State of mago3D, An Open Source Based Digital Twin Platform

mago3D(https://github.com/Gaia3D/mago3djs) is a relatively new project first released in July 2017. The ultimate goal of mago3D project is developing an open source based digital twin platform that can replicate and simulate the real world objects, processes, and phenomena on web environment. mago3D is on its way to achieve this goal now. As a Digital Twin platform, it can integrate, manage, and visualize various kinds of data formats such as CityGML, IndoorGML, LAS, IFC, 3DS, and other popular GIS formats. It utilizes many open source projects as a baseline framework. mago3D has been used in various industry sectors including ship building, urban design & management, indoor data management, and national defense. In this talk, I showcased several real projects that employed the mago3D and shared recent improvements and new features of mago3D.

This talk was given at the FOSS4G Buenos Aires 2021.
This research is about the development of an EIA(Environmental Impact Assessment) decision support system that effectively integrates and visualizes the results of the EIA review process and related information such as BIM/GIS, modeling data, and sensor data. The final goal is to improve the EIA process so that not only experts but also non-experts can participate in the EIA process and easily understand the EIA statements using innovative technologies such as 3D GIS and Easy Finger real-time simulation. The final system will be developed and opened as an open source. This research is 5 years long project funded by Ministry of Environment, South Korea. This talk will focus on the 1st year's research outcome and future plans.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Reef supports the Perl Compatible Regular Expression syntax, including wildcards, alternation, ranges, capture groups, Kleene star, negations, and lookarounds. Reef introduces a new type of automata, Skipping Alternating Finite Automata (SAFA), that skips irrelevant parts of a document when producing proofs without undermining soundness, and instantiates SAFA with a lookup argument. Our experimental evaluation confirms that Reef can generate proofs for documents with 32M characters; the proofs are small and cheap to verify (under a second).

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software Fuzzing
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.
