Day 1: Addis to Arba Minch
Morning drive to Arbaminch on the way passes through the dramatic Rift
valley system in Ethiopia, visit the Lake Ziway and the morning fish
market at the shore of the Lake, proceed to Langao, afternoon just enjoy
the Rift valley lakes proceed to Shashemene en route visit the intestine
the Rasta (RasTefrian) culture and their early settlement in Ethiopia.
Lunch will be at wolayita, followed by an afternoon drive to Arbaminch
via Wolayta village. Overnight at Arba Minch.
Day 2:Arba Minch
Morning drives to Dorze village, and then a visit to the traditional
village of Chencha,where you will sure be fascinated by the waving style
of the Dorze people. Lunch will be at Swaynes Hotel. In the afternoon,
you will drive to LakeChamo for a boat ride. On LakeChamo you will adore
the longest African crocodile, as well as some aquatic birds. Overnight
Arba Minch.
Day 3: Jinka
Drive from Arbaminch to Jinka, visiting the Konso and Derashe people on
the way, and having a rest at Woyto village. Continue to Jinka Here you
will visit the Ari, Bena, Tsemi and Hammer people, then late in the
afternoon drive to Jinka for overnight. Overnight at Jinka.
Day 4: Jinka
Drive from Jinka to Mago. In the morning, visit the Mursi village. Lunch
will be served on the way in lunch boxes. In the afternoon, have some
rest at MagoNational Park, and then late in the afternoon, make a game
drive in the park. Then drive back to Jinka. Overnight at Jinka

Day 5: Turmi
Drive from Jinka to Turmi en route will pass through the Dimeka village,
also visit the ARI, HAMMER AND BENA people at Dimeka and on tour route,
lunch will be served en route from lunch box, late in the afternoon
arrive at Turmi, Overnight Turmi.
Day 6:Arba Minch
Drive from Turmi to Arbaminch, en route visit the Erbore village and
konso village The Konso are popular for their unique trussing style.
Lunch will be served at weyto. Late in the afternoon arrive at Arbaminch.

Day 7:Addis
Drive back to Addis Ababa, En route visit AbjiataShala “National ParK”
actual it is bird sanctuary, visit the ostrich Farm then proceed to the
two Rift valley lakes where you will see flamingos, shall is the Nesting
ground of the Flamingos and Abjata is the Feeding ground of the
Flamingos. Transfer to the airport for your international flight.

Day 01:Addis Ababa
City tour of Addis Ababa Founded in the late 1880s by Emperor Menelik II

meter above sea level), and the largest market in Africa called Merkato.

Day 02:Langano
Leave Addis in Luxury Microbus, traveling via the rift valley lakes of
Shala, Abyata and Langano, admiring wonderful views, many birds,
pelicans, flamingos, hot springs and more. Available activities here are
trekking, bird watching, horse riding, boat excursions, cycling, team-
building activities, and mini-soccer and beach volley ball. Overnight

Day 03:Arba Minch
Early start for a scenic Drive to Arba Minch which means “forty springs”
in Amharic) on the way admiring the Wolayta people and their villages
admiring spectacular green hills on the way, climbing Chencha, the
mountainous villages of the Dorze people. Visit the Dorze people,
renowned for cotton weavers whose tall beehive-shaped dwelling are among
the most distinctive traditional structures to be seen anywhere in
Africa. The unique Dorze houses also make Chencha worth a visit. These
remarkable extended domes measure up to 6m tall and are constructed

Day 04: Arbaminch
Morning we enter the Nechsar National park; which is an ideal homeland
especially for the endemic Swayne’s hartebeest and Burchels zebra and
other more mammals, birds and plant life. Nicely situated at the adjacent
lands of Abaya and Chamo lakes, the landscape is quite scenic. After rest
at 2:00pm you will drive to Lake Chamo for a boat ride, which will take
you an hour and half on the lake. You will see the biggest crocodiles in
Africa, huge hippopotamus and offshore birds as Pelicans, storks, ibis
etc.. Overnight Arbaminch
Day 05: Jinka
Early morning drive to Jinka on the way visit the Tsemay, Bena and Ari
tribes. They are pleasant and differ on their hairstyles and way of
dressing. After having lunch Proceed to Jinka with shortstop for the
peoples of Tsemay, Bena and Ari tribes, if the day is Thursday, you will
be seeing the fabulous and fascinating market at keyafer. Continue to
Jinka for Overnight.

Day 06: Jinka
After comforting cup of hot coffee at sunrise Enter Mago National Park to
visit the Mursi people and their villages. Here beauty women insert round
clay plates in their lips. The men practice scarification on their face
based on the number of enemies or wild animals they have killed in
battle. Then drive back to Mago National Park, is closest thing in
Ethiopia to the renowned Savannah reserves of east Africa. It is
dominated by dense acacia woodland, which is interspersed with small
areas of open Savannah, the pristine riparian forest that lays the Mago
River and the extensive Neri swamp

Day 07: Turmi
You sip your early morning coffee as you leave on your early morning game
drive to Turmi, and if it is Saturday you can see the colorful Hamer,
Karo and Dassanech people at the market in Dimeka. Proceed to the Hamer
villages and Overnight tented bungalows at Lodge before the sunset where
we’ll freshen up in our en suit Bungalows.Overnight in Turmi
Day 08:Turmi
Drive to Murulle to visit the Karo people, with their interesting body
decorations and scarification all over the body; besides admire the view
of the Omo River from Kortcho village. Then drive on to Kangate and cross
the Omo River by small boat to admire the Bume people and their villages.

Day 9: Turmi
Morning excursion to Omorate, on the banks of the Omo River, to visit the
Dassanech people. Then back to Turmi for the colorful Monday market of
the Hamer, Karo and Dassanech people. Witness Hamer dances (Evangadi) and
seasonal marriage ceremonies with bull-jumping. Hamar people called
“Evangadi “exercised in the late afternoon around six, this can be with
the interest of the clients so that your guide can arrange everything
including negotiating the fare (amount of Money they charge). Moreover if
you are very lucky you will see how the Hamar conduct “the Bull jumping”
program held in order to confirm the youth are old enough to propose
their future wife.

Day 10: Konso
Depart from Turmi to Konso, via Erbore in the Weyto valley. Friday is
market day in Erbore, so if passing on this day, the market will be
visited. Market days in Konso are Mondays and Thursdays. The Konso people
are known for their totems erected in honor of the dead and their
intricate agricultural terracing techniques. Overnight in Konso .

Day 11:Yabello
In the morning, visit a local Konso village and the “natural New York
village”, which gets its name from the tall sand formations that resemble
skyscrapers. After the visit, proceed driving to Yabello for overnight.
Day 12:Awasa
After breakfast, continue south from Yabello to the local Borena village
of Dublock to visit the singing wells where the locals form chanting
chains of people to remove buckets of water from the long channeled
openings of the wells. Afterwards, continue to El Sod, a crater lake
where salt is mined from the lake for sale and use throughout Ethiopia.
After the visit, proceed driving to Awassa, overnight at Awassa.
Day 13: Addis Ababa
Early the morning visit Lake Awasa which teems with fish and attracting
water birds. See the fish markets on the shoreline, and walk part of the
board-walk beside the wetlands viewing some of the birds then Drive back
to Addis Ababa via Butajera on the way visit Tiya classified by UNESCO as
a World Heritage site in Ethiopia. Here you will see the erected obelisk
supposed grave yard area and , Adadi Mariam (a rock-hewn church) is
located which is a very true example of the rock-hewn church – in fact
local tradition ascribes it to King Lalibela who is said to have had it
built on his visit to Mount Zuqwala in 1106 keep on driving to Addis.

Day 01: Arrival at Bole International Airport. Reception by Vacation
Ethiopia Travel guide and driver anTransfer to hotel for check-in. City
tour of Addis Ababa including the panoramic view point Entoto Mountain,
Merkato, said to be Africa’s largest market of its kind, and the National
Museum (home of Lucy, hominid skeleton dating back 3.2 million years) and
the ethnographic museums. Overnight in Addis Ababa.
Day 02: Depart south from Addis via the Great Rift Valley, stopping on
the way at Lake Ziway to visit the bountiful birdlife on the shores of
the lake. Continue driving to Arba Minch via Sodo, overnight in Arba
Minch.
Day 03: In the morning, take a boat trip on Lake Chamo to visit the
crocodile market and hippo pods. In the afternoon Ascend into the Gughe
Mountains to visit the Dorze people, who are known for their tall
beehive-like houses and their fine cotton weaving. Market days in Dorze
village are Mondays and Thursdays and in Chencha on Tuesdays and
Saturdays. After the visit, continue to Arba Minch for overnight in Arba
Minch.
Day 04: After the visit, continue driving to Jinka via Weyto (market day
Sunday) and Key Afar (market day Thursday). Overnight in Jinka.
Day 05: after breakfast drive to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi
tribe, who are known for their lower lip and earlobe plates. Afterwards,
return to Jinka to visit the South Omo Museum & Research Center for more
information about the tribes. Additionally, Tuesdays and Saturdays are
market days in Jinka, which will be visited. Overnight in Jinka.

Day 06: drive Jinka to Turmi, home of the Hamer people. On the way, stop
in Dimeka for the local market, which is on Tuesdays and Saturday. This
is one of the most colorful markets in the South Omo and is visited by
neighborhood Hamer, Benna, Karo, Tsemai and Ari tribes. Overnight in
Turmi. At night, see the traditional night dancing of the Hamer people,
known as Evangadi.
Day 07: morning, drive to Omorate and cross the Omo River by local boat
to visit the Dasennech tribe (also known as Galeb tribe). Afterwards,
return to Turmi and, if there is Jumping of the Bulls traditional Hamer
wedding ceremony, it will be visited. Monday is market day in Turmi.
Overnight in Turmi.
Day 08: Today will be a day trip to visit the people of the Karo tribe.
Depart from Turmi to the villages of Murulle, Kolcho and Dus on the
shores of the Omo River. The Karo people are the smallest in number of
all of the tribes of the Omo Valley, and they are known for their
elaborate decorations, particularly during local ceremonies. Overnight in
Turmi.
Day 09: Depart from Turmi to Arba Minch, via Erbore in the Weyto valley
and Konso. Friday is market day in Erbore, so if passing on this day, the
market will be visited. Stop in Konso for a visit with the Konso people,
who are known for their totems erected in honor of the dead and their
intricate agricultural terracing techniques. Afterwards, continue to Arba
Minch for overnight in Arba Minch.
Day 10: Depart from Arba Minch to Addis Ababa.
In the evening departure. End of the Tour.
