Toronto is the largest city in Canada. It has over 2.6 million residents and is located on the northwest shore of Lake Ontario. Toronto is a very diverse, multicultural city with over 150 ethnic groups represented. The most common languages spoken are English and various Chinese dialects. The city has a strong economy focused around banking, technology, arts and culture. Popular attractions include the CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, Art Gallery of Ontario, and various parks. Ice hockey, soccer, baseball and basketball are the most popular sports.
